About Kelli

Admitted as a Solicitor in 2009, Kelli holds a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.


Before joining us, Kelli gained significant experience in both private practice as a Senior Associate at one of the state’s largest regional law firms and served as General Counsel in local government.


Kelli’s experience in both sectors has given her a unique ability to provide practical, strategic advice that meets the needs of both businesses and public entities.


Kelli applies a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to legal matters, offering clear, actionable advice that helps achieve client’s goals while mitigating risks.

 

What Kelli does

  • Business Law: Providing advice and legal solutions for businesses at all stages of their lifecycle, from formation, acquisitions and restructuring. Kelli assists clients in navigating complex commercial transactions and ensures they are compliant with relevant legislate, advising businesses on high-value contracts, joint ventures, and business acquisitions, with a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing business opportunities.
  • Commercial Disputes & Litigation: Acting for clients on a broad spectrum of commercial and civil disputes, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, debt recovery, and complex business conflicts.
  • Building and Construction Law: Kelli has extensive experience in the building and construction industry, particularly in front-end contract negotiation and preparation. She is well-versed in the complexities of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW) and has acted for clients in resolving payment disputes and claims under the Act.
  • Conveyancing & Property Law: Acting on commercial and residential conveyancing, including the purchase, sale, and leasing of property. Kelli has experience in property development, subdivisions, and navigating the regulatory requirements associated with these transactions.
  • Local Government Law: Kelli provides advice to councils and public sector clients on a wide range of matters. This includes tendering, procurement, land acquisition, service provision contracts, negotiation of major and minor infrastructure projects and navigating the complexities of public sector legislation and regulation.
