About Harvey 

 Harvey was admitted as a solicitor in 1974 and has been with this firm for over 42 years. He began at McIntosh McPhillamy & Co in early 1974 and became a Partner on 1 July 1976. He retired from the partnership after 31 years on 30 June 2007 to become a consultant to the firm and continues as a Senior Solicitor in the firm.

What he does

Harvey is a diligent and conscientious professional who utilises his many years experience to achieve the best possible results for his clients, each and every time. He works primarily in Property, from Residential and Commercial Conveyancing to Subdivision and Development work, as well as buying and selling Businesses. He also advises on Wills and Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianships.

Harvey is very experienced in building and construction by having participated in the building/renovating of two houses and working at one stage for a building contractor.


Harvey was an Articled Clerk for five years ("apprenticed" to Master Solicitors under the Solicitors Admission Board rules of the Supreme Court) gaining practical experience while working and studying and was admitted as a solicitor on 8 February 1974.

 Life outside McIntosh McPhillamy & Co

Harvey enjoys spending time with his three children and two grandchildren. He has travelled extensively and greatly enjoyed the experience. He is also a frustrated golfer as well as being an EPL and Barcelona tragic.
