About Cindy

As a workers compensation lawyer, Cindy strives to uphold and strengthen McIntosh McPhillamy & Co’s strong tradition of fighting for the fair and just entitlements of injured workers during what is often the most difficult and stressful period of their life.

Cindy gets satisfaction from helping her clients get back on their feet after an injury. She ensures her clients understand the workers compensation scheme, why things happen, and what can be done to rectify their situation. She fights to obtain the maximum benefit entitlements possible for her clients.

What she does

Cindy runs a support group for injured workers on a monthly basis at the office of McIntosh McPhillamy & Co to provide advice to injured workers and to assist and encourage them to establish links within their local community health system, Government departments, organisations and other individual support groups.

Cindy also regularly appears before the Workers Compensation Commission, dealing with disputes between workers compensation insurers and injured workers. She also has access to skilled and experienced barristers to assist with resolving complex legal issues.

Cindy is an Approved Legal Service Provider to the Workers Compensation Independent Review Office (WIRO), which permits her to act for injured workers of NSW in dealing with workers compensation disputes.

Cindy completed her paralegal studies in 1994 through Southern Cross University and then finished her Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies in 2002. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2010 following the completion of her Bachelor of Law. Cindy also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Wollongong.
